Signage will be on the first two floors of the building to guide you.
Check-in Early: ***Please bring a copy of your ticket printed or on your phone.*** Check-in via Eventbrite and a complimentary breakfast begin at 8am. Being on time is the name of the game: The first 300 attendees to check-in are guaranteed free swag and given first access to 125 tickets to the afterparty at Google. We also suggest you get your seat early for each session, as space is limited.
Pre-Submitted Sessions: So you've pre-submitted a session on our site here. Great! Now what? 1. When you arrive at the start of ProductCamp, your pre-submitted session will already be displayed in the voting area. 2. Each attendee will have the opportunity to vote for their top 3 sessions. 3. After the first morning keynote, we will announce which sessions have been chosen by the attendees and are a part of this year's schedule. (The schedule is not finalized until the morning of PCamp, that's why it's an unconference!) 4. If your session is chosen you should come to the "Speaker Session Area" so we can let you know which room your session will be held in!
How does on-site voting work? Attendees will receive 3 ‘dots’ to use for voting the morning of ProductCamp. Just place a dot on any session posted on the session grid that you plan on attending. The voting helps us allocate appropriate times and rooms for each session. Anyone interested in posting a topic for consideration should arrive early and post their topic before voting starts at 8:45 am.
Who are the "very cool people in the yellow ProductCamp shirts?" Those awesome folks are ProductCamp volunteers! If you have a question or concern, just track down one of our many volunteers and we will help you throughout the day!
What are the Twitter hashtags? If you are on the wonderful world of Twitter, why not tweet about us? #pghpcamp
Whoever comes are the right people.
Whatever happens is the only thing that could have (happened?).
Whenever it starts is the right time.
When it is over it is over.
The Law of the Two Feet:
Anyone finds her or himself in a situation where they are neither learning nor contributing, they can use their two feet to go to a more productive place. This law is important as it emphasizes that every participant is present voluntarily.
